Thématiques: Exhibitions The Centre Pompidou hosts Claude Rutauld Until January 11th 2016, the Centre Pompidou hosts seven works of French painter Claude Rutault (born in 1941). Six of them were the subject of a donation to the National Museum of Modern Art. The public can also discover a selection of archives, also offered at the Kandinsky library. This artist is known for the fact that he transformed painting, as we know it traditionally. In 1973, he took a drastic decision: while they are hanged on the wall, these paintings will have the same colour than the latter. In this way, the canvas evolves and changes colour according to its place of hanging. It is not anymore a tangible object, it is devoted to evolve just like a music piece. This artistic particularity earned Claude Rutault an international recognition. "Claude Rutault – D'où je viens, où j'en suis, où je vais" ("Claude Rutault – Where I come from, where I am, Where I am heading for") exhibition, from October 21st 2015 to January 11th 2016.

Great is the sun, and wide he goes Through empty heaven without repose; And in the blue and glowing days More thick than rain he showers his rays. Though closer still the blinds we pull To keep the shady parlour cool, Yet he will find a chink or two To slip his golden fingers through. The dusty attic spider-clad, He, through the keyhole, maketh glad; And through the broken edge of tiles, Into the laddered hay-loft smiles. Meantime his golden face around He bares to all the garden ground, And sheds a warm and glittering look Among the ivy's inmost nook. Above the hills, along the blue, Round the bright air with footing true, To please the child, to paint the rose, The gardener of the World, he goes. The Land of Nod From Breakfast on through all the day At home among my friends I stay, But every night I go abroad Afar into the land of Nod. All by myself I have to go, With none to tell me what to do-- All alone beside the streams And up the mountain-sides of dreams. The strangest things are there for me, Both things to eat and things to see, And many frightening sights abroad Till morning in the land of Nod.
We went inside to register and the lady at the front desk said, we don't have to register just park. O... more After having to turn around to go to Galveston, we found this place. Ok. It's boondocking situation, the park lot lights never go completely dark and the constant hum of the rigs and generator might keep up. Includes • Hiking • Tramping • Hill walking • Rambling • Trekking Description Bushwalking is an Australian activity that covers a wide spectrum of walking experiences in natural or green areas. A bushwalk might be a walk along a trail through urban parks or forest near where you live, or it could be a full day walk or camping trip to a national park or reserve. At the other end of the spectrum a bushwalk can be a multi-day expedition where you are self-sufficient carrying a tent and food. No matter which option you choose it is all bushwalking and because Australia has such a great network of natural areas and a wide variety of land forms there are many opportunities to get into bushwalking whether it be on designated trails or in remote wilderness areas. Definition from the Australian Bush Walking website: • Grade One is suitable for the disabled with assistance • Grade Two is suitable for families with young children • Grade Three is recommended for people with some bushwalking experience • Grade Four is recommended for experienced bushwalkers, and • Grade Five is recommended for very experienced bushwalkers Who Can Participate Open to members.
